Bob is responsible for ensuring consistency in Encana’s acquisition and divestiture processes on all corporate and asset transactions. He also oversees business development, reserves assessment, competitor analysis, corporate Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S), security and corporate responsibility.
With over 30 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry, Bob joined one of Encana’s predecessor companies in 1985 and has held several senior leadership roles in the areas of asset management, business development, acquisitions and divestitures, and reserves assessment.
Bob graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering in 1975 and from Nova Scotia Technical College with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in mechanical engineering in 1978.
He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta, as well as the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He and his family reside in Calgary.
